Solder Wick

Solder wick, sometimes called solder braid, is used to remove excess solder around a solder joint. In combination with de-soldering pumps they're a useful tool to remove components and fix mistakes.

Similar to solder, thin solder-wick is preferred when working on portables due to the small nature of the work.
